On May 10th, the World Health Organization’s Office for Quality of Care and Patient Safety in Athens hosted the Growing Healthier Together event, a unique celebration dedicated to the mental health of children and young people, at Zappeion Gardens. The event highlighted the urgent need for meaningful support for young people, their families and caregivers.
This day was filled with activities at information stands and live performances on stage, such as art, music, literature, acting and stand-up with social content, from 20 or more mental health organizations that participated.
Eugenia Samara coordinated the event with sensitivity and vibrancy, creating a space where participation was both active and meaningful.
From the first moment we undertook the organization of this great celebration for mental health, we tried to design something that would give space to creativity and help all the organizations to promote their work.
We designed an outdoor exhibition, with respect to accessibility, to facilitate children to participate in the actions that were in throughout the event during the day.
We undertook designing all the graphics, the construction of the stage, the booths, the audiovisuals, the printed material, we took care of the safety and cleanliness of the venue, as well as the videography and photography.
We would like to thank once again the WHO Office for Quality of Care and Patient Safety in Athens for the trust it has shown us in organizing such an important event, as well as all the participating organizations for their excellent cooperation.
