European Destinations To Travel In February

For those of you who make a trip to a European destination, choose February. It’s a month where you can enjoy their cities and sights without the crowd of summer, but also watch important events organized only this month. Whichever trip you choose, you can enjoy it with the services of the Congress Line, guaranteeing your airline ticket and your stay.

  • Lisbon, Portugal

It can be traditionally known for its splendid beaches and wine, but February’s travelers can also discover another side of Lisbon: the “Madeira” carnival. The four-day celebration begins the week after Valentine’s Day and includes parades, exhibitions and performances. Try the traditional desserts of Lisbon such as Bolo de Mel de Madeira (honey cake) and Pastel de Nata tarts.

  • Warsaw, Poland

Christmas holidays may have ended, but Warsaw is still “illuminated”. The annual winter exhibition of the city, the Royal Garden of Light, runs until the end of February. Thousands of LED lights are designed to create fantastic baroque figures. The depiction is reflected around the Wilanów Palace and on weekends the impressive 3D show is projected on the building’s overlap.

  • Tuscany, Italy

Although Tuscany is a year-round destination, in February, in particular, the annual Benvenuto Brunello Festival (16 to 19 February) is being held. The top wineries of Montalcino (Tuscan village) meet on a famous 17th-century farm where you as guests can enjoy your stay, taste fine wine and meet Italian wine-growers.

  • Madrid, Spain

The tasty tapas and the rich architecture of the 16th century are a reason to visit Madrid. But we found one more: the Madrilena carnival. Beginning on February 9, the six-day event is an opportunity to see the chirigotas (theatrical satirical complexes), watch a masked area, taste chocolate sardines and attend the annual parade in El Paraíso Park.
