38th Panhellenic Congress of the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE).
From March 9 to 12, the 38th Panhellenic Conference of GSEE was held with more than 600 participants, delegates, observers and foreign delegations.
The conference began on the first day with a minute’s silence for the victims of the train accident in Tempe.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, an audio-visual documentary was presented on the theme of 200 years since the foundation of the Greek state, with Lakis Chalkias and Sofia Papazoglou providing musical accompaniment, as well as the choir of the Chaidari Music Workshop ‘O AMPHION’.
At the same time, a workshop was held where foreign delegations participated, on the topic of ‘The Cost-of-Living Crisis: Taking Stock of Trade Union Responses’ with the presence of trade union representatives from 26 countries.
The conference was completed on 12 of March 2023 with the election of a new administration of GSEE.
Congress Line provided the audio-visual equipment, the technical support as well as the secretariat.
We also undertook the creation of the scenery in the central hall and a painting exhibition with the theme of work and workers life. For the promotion of the activities of the GSEE branches (INE, KANEP, KEPEA, EEKE) we designed exhibition stands which were placed outside the main hall of the conference.
